PowerShell Gotcha



Numeric values as the first character in parameter names:


function foo {
[cmdletbinding()]
param (
[parameter()]
[switch]$32bit
)
if ($32bit){
"32bit"
}
}
PS c:\> foo -32bit
foo : A positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument '-32bit'.


Workaround! - $x86
